I recently had 20 sessions of radiation for breast cancer at Premier Radiation Oncology Associates. I cannot say enough good things about them and highly recommend them to provide your treatment. I had no clue as to what to expect but from the moment I stepped into the office and was greeted warmly by the front office staff and sat in the lovely comfortable waiting lounge I felt calmed and knew that all would go well. Dr Gauwitz and the nursing staff explained everything that would happen and how to take care of my skin and myself. The treatments were on schedule and the technicians were so kind, positive and respectful. Dr Gauwitz was a gem. His humor was uplifting and his genuine concern for me as a person was very reassuring.
I recently underwent 4 weeks of Radiation Therapy at Premier Radiation Oncology Associates office as a treatment following surgical removal of Breast Cancer. The radiation therapy was better than I had expected. Michael Gauwitz, MD, each of the radiation therapists, nurses, and staff members, were consistently knowledgeable, kind and caring to both me and my daughter. Each of the 20 treatments was administered efficiently and effectively. The wait time for each treatment was extremely short. I highly recommend this Physician and Radiation Therapy office to anyone who is ordered to have Radiation Therapy.
Discovering suddenly that you need radiation treatment for something is not pleasant, of course, but if it becomes necessary, there is no other place I would consider going. The office is staffed with friendly and consumately professional people. Dr. Gauwitz made me feel completely confident and relaxed through the entire treatment. He (and the entire staff) don’t just act like they care, they really and quite obviously do. If you have to be treated, I recommend this office very highly.

My dermatologist recommended Premier Radiation Oncology for a stubborn melanoma on my leg. The office on McMullen Booth Road was conveniently located 10 minutes from my house. I called for an appointment and was greeted warmly on the phone by the staff. I was given a variety of appointment options and selected the time most convenient for me. On my first day of arrival, I waited no more than 5 minutes before I was escorted to a private room for a Q & A session with La’Shon Green, RN. She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with my decision to see Dr. Michael Gauwitz at Premier Radiation. The doctor spent another 20 minutes describing the six week procedure I was to start the following week. He assured me that my case was in good hands and that the six weeks would fly by.
The following Monday, the treatments began. My appointment was at 10 each Monday through Friday for six weeks. I loved knowing well in advance what days I should block on my calendar for these treatments. Over the next 30 sessions, I would arrive on time, or early, and I never waited more than 6 or 7 minutes in the waiting room for my treatment. In this office, they respect their patients and realize our time in also valuable.
The technicians that set up the radiation treatment were also fabulous to work with. They were friendly, curious, professional and genuinely cared about my health. And, after each 2 minute, pain-free treatment they would thank me for coming in and tell me they looked forward to seeing me the next day.
On a scale of one to ten, this medical facility and staff are at the top of my list with a 10+. I would be happy to speak to anyone that needs reassurance on this team and facility.
I have been seeing Dr. Gauwitz and his staff for over a year now. Not only are they rockstars at what they do, they genuinely care about my overall health and well-being. I always look forward to seeing them because they are so supportive. Cancer was hard to face. Having their support meant the world to me. Also, I feel better when I understand the process and the technical part of what they are doing. Dr. Gauwitz was so good with educating me and helping me understand the process that it really put me at ease. They are so wonderful that I decided to let people know how amazing they really are. This place is everything you could ever hope for from a doctor’s office.
Dr Gauwitz and his staff at Premier Radiation were such a blessing to our family during such a terrible time. Any cancer diagnosis is horrible but dealing with someone who has dementia and doesn’t comprehend on a normal basis it can really be overwhelming. I have never had such an understanding and compassionate team of health care providers work with us every step of the way. They were so helpful to my sister and I each time we attended the treatments and were always available if we needed anything. The compassion and professionalism was above and beyond. The facilities is too notch all the way! Can’t thank them all enough for the smiles and comfort each day. The simple words, thank you, aren’t enough.

They ensure that my visits are always as pleasant and positive an experience as possible.
